hi,

when I want to add a friend from the link on its profile, the following url is called up, that takes me back to the myfriends page:
www.example.com/?q=friend/request/1&destination=user%2F1.
Any ideas on this one?

yes it should take you there ... and prompt you to send a friend request (yes or no) .. after answering the prompt it should take you back to your friends profile page. Your friend will then need to login and accept your request.

Hi there,
I have the same problem. You click the link, and then get back to your friend overview. The friend is not added, and does not appear pending. Also, email is not sent to the other user.

I also dont get the prompt, it just goes back to my friends, with nothing pending noone emailed

I found the error ;-)

Replace %user_current with %user in friend.module on line 106 and line 114 and it should work.

Hi guys .. just found the error .. and so did glueckskind.
With the patch of 6.1 to 6.2 there was a menu access naming change from %user_current to %user_uid_optional (or %user).

I've just made the cvs commit.
