on site http://mailhost.despiegelgent.be/drupaltestsite I've set 'leefgroep 3: Klas Maité' block to show only on pages Maite/* and Maite. My Gallery page which is configured to be translated as %path%/fotoalbum does not show the block 'leefgroep 3: Klas Maité'unless I configure the URL alias Maite/fotoalbum => gallery/92, which is kind of a strange workaround i think. I rather not use this workaround. You can see the problem on http://mailhost.despiegelgent.be/drupaltestsite/Hilde/fotoalbum where the block 'leefgroep 1: Klas hilde' does not show. I do not now if this is a problem with clean url's or the embedded gallery. What I als find strange is that also the pictures in this album keep the same behaviour so http://mailhost.despiegelgent.be/drupaltestsite/Maite/IMG_1171.jpg/fotoa... does show the Menu-block and on http://mailhost.despiegelgent.be/drupaltestsite/Hilde/IMG_0084.jpg/fotoa... the block does not show up.
I hope my explanation is clear enough.

I think I have the same problem, I running the dev version of gallery. And the nav block displays nicely on the main gallery page but if I click on any album it just disapear.

I'm not sure if it's really the same problem. However I fixed my error. It was already foreseen in the gallery settings, but I just missed it. I checked enable url rewrite mode under gallery settings/menu and everything works fine now.

I have that checked.
But if I un check it it now work to display the block on album page also. Strange.
