Hi All,
I would ask you to promote the post about our meeting here in the biggest South America OS conference to the frontpage, would that be possible?
I'm not pretty sure about the policy about promoting or demoting posts from the front page, and I would love if someone could point me some pages where I can find more information about it.

I don't know if there are set documented policies. I have general guidelines that I follow when caring for the front page, but I don't think they are written anywhere. I know there have been complaints about local events being on the front page in the past, which is why I asked you to file an issue to get others' opinions on it first.
