I have searched and connot find a post on this. I have not had this problem with v5.x, so I am unsure as to what is happening.

Any change that I make as an administrator is not saved, even something simple like change a core theme or place the site in maintenance. It allows me to make the choice and press the save configuration, but nothing happens. This is a fresh install of 6.2 on a Windows Server 2008 box.

Try chaning theme to default.

Theme is already on default. It will let me chose and new them and it will let me set the default theme, but after saving configuration, it just goes back to default mode. It will not accept any changes.
