I've never built a website before- so this is our first attempt at creating something.
It's called Wankerparty and its a masturbation celebration, hosted by the one and only Chas Diamond.
We used Drupal 5.7 and some fairly basic modules to create what we hope will become an active community website used predominantly by 25-35 UK males interested in adult humour.

So - pretty simple and so far I would say I have fond Drupal fairly painful but farily rewarding.
Previous experience in web publishing was only with Blogger and then Wordpress. Drupal has been a good next step and I am beginning to see the possibilities.
For noobs like me - I recommend video tutorials from:

Drupal Dude
Awakened Voices
We enjoyed their vids a lot and watching them accelerated our learning curve.
All have a friendly style and for someone like me who likes to be told stuff rather than read stuff - its a great way to get a better grip of Drupal in the first scary moments where you think "what the hell is a node?"
Anyway - let me know what you think.
You cannot hurt my feelings - so fire away - especially from a usability point of view. Don't bother telling me that you don't like the colours - cos orange or burnt cheese is THE THING and it ain't changing. Apart from that though...

Site is very humorous & I think even (especially) old retired priests from Kilmacliduggle, Eire, will greatly enjoy this experience.
Perhaps you should be providing links to friction burn cream relief manufacturers ?

The text box in the middle column that explains the site is too small, I would like it to either match the rest of the site or to just be removed.

- i'll probably do that (make text bigger) as I was thinking the same thing.
I do think from a usability point of view it's vital for sites to explain themselves when you first visit them. Too many sites I go to where you're like "eh, what's this for?"
So probably bigger writing and fewer words... I might try and get more pictures above the fold as well seeing as the rest of the site has quite a lot of pics the front page above fold looks a little bare, a bit text-y.
