All,

I have scoured the documentation and forums and cannot find anything on this.
I have run 5.x without issues and decided to build clean install of 6.2 (before I try moving my site).

Server 2008 with IIS7
MySQL 5.0.51a
PHP 5.2.5
Core install only, no modifications.
No error reports, Status report is clean.
(for testing only, I have opened up the file system to allow all to modify to see if it is a permissions problem)

I can log in with the original admin with no problem.
I can access all functions.
It will NOT let me save any configuration change, such as creating a new user, changing theme, site name etc.
Regardless of what I select, when I select "save configuration", "add user", etc, it just returns to the main page and looking into the section shows that nothing was done.

I know this will turn out to be something simple, but I cannot find it.

Thinking that it was the way that I installed. I have wiped the installation and started from scratch with the exact same results.

am I missing something in settings.php or a file permission somewhere?
The install works perfectly and I can log in with the default created admin account, it just will not let me make any changes.

I have been able to manually create changes in the MySQL database and these changes are reflected in web site. So now it seems that the web administration from Drupal is not getting to the database. They are on the same server and Drupal reports that it has no issue with connecting to it.

Again, any help would be appreciated.

I Have the same problem.. :(

Try to install PHP as an ISAPI module in IIS7, may be Drupal will work. :)

Good luck!
