I have a site where I have a problem with the primary links. Two of the links do not show up for unregistered users and I can't figure out how to fix it. The site is www.glassarcade.co.uk and I have a test user account if you want to see how it should look. In actual fact they are links very similar to the ones on the top pf this page.

username drupal
password user

The primary links should contain four tabs but only shows two. One that doesn't show up is a link to a contact form and the other is a link to a list of links that are collected through a news aggregator.

Thanks

Check the permission settings.

Admin > User Management > Permissions

Make suer the anon and registered users are allowed to use the contact form.

Doh! I feel stupid for that one I thought I had left them unchecked so all could access but I had actually checked the registered user so only they could access it. What about the other one is there a similar check somewhere that I am missing. It is a link to a aggregator page. I have the page itself set up as a view and I have just checked that both registered and anonymous users have access to the page but anonymous users cannot see the link.

It is most likely an access issue, go to User management > Access control, make sure authenticated and anon users are both checked. This page show access denied: http://www.glassarcade.co.uk/aggregator/sources

I have a site in drupal and i have enabled primary menu and created a book page for help and gave a link to the page to help menu.

When unregistered user tried to acces my site they are not getting the help menu, it is blank and the book page is also not coming,

i have checked the permission also. It is displaying the menu for annonymous user's, but not for unregistered user's.

i don't know how to fix it.

any help?

This is for Drupal 6.x

- Site Building> Blocks> List> Your Theme Name

- Locate the Primary Links block in this page listing
- Click configure
- Scroll to 'Role specific visibility settings'
- Under Show block for specific roles
- Ensure anonymous user is checked

Warning: This will make all links you have under Primary Links visible to unauthenticated users.

Good luck!

Hi,

I have similar problem with the Contact Form not showing in the Primary link. It only shows if I allow "administer site-wide contact form", but that links to "/admin/build/contact" instead of "/contact" Any idea what's wrong?

Thansk!

I am having issues with one primary link which fails to show up on Safari mobile (iTouch). It shows on a PC Safari browser, along with Firefox, Chrome and IE. It simply likes to the user login form, and once logging in, links to the users account (website.com/user).

For some reason, that is the only link that does not show up on Safari using my iTouch.

I doubt it's a permissions issue simply because the rest of the links in the group it is part of, show without issue. These links are in my primary navigation menu, if that helps.

I am using Account Menu module, but the link I am have created is static, and technically should not affect or be affected by that module.

Ideas?

When using the Core 7.58, links not working and "mysite/user" does not work!! - Not able to login in DP 7.58.

THE DB has been tested in different backup version, so the problem comes from the core!

PLEASE ADVICE?

/Thanks, to all who helps // Göran
