I think that the trackback xml should be out of rss feed. Actually I can see the <rdf:> code in the
field of rss and I wonder why should be useful there. It just makes rss bigger in my opinion. The fact is that being like a part of the teaser it goes in the <description>.

ankur commentedI looked into this problem and, with the current Drupal architecture, there isn't an easy fix. The trackback spec also doesn't specify anything for or against putting the autodetection comments in the rss feed of a node. The only drawback of including the RSS feed is an extra cost in bandwidth, but one that is almost negligible.
