Is there any way to control/limit the number of taxonomy terms displayed in a taxonomy term field for a given vocabulary in a table view. E.g. if a node has more than one term from a vocab attached, would it be possible to have the view output only the first term in the table field?

Unfortunately this is not a feature Views currently has.
