1. Create view with URL=node
2. Go to create content->Page (or Story) - you'll see 4 extra tabs that has nothing to do with nodes: View, Edit, Clone, Export
It doesn't matter if sites's "Default front page" is NOT "node".

merlinofchaos commentedYes, that's the expected behavior. If you create a view 'node' and go to 'node/25' it puts up tabs so you can edit the view.
Hint: Don't create a view 'node'. It breaks stuff.
