Hello everyone.
I just received a "complaint" from a friend of mine who tried to comment a post on my blog. His complaint was that he had to input the absolute URL of his site in the "homepage" field.
I never even thought of that but I guess it makes sense: why make people input the "http://" at all when posting a comment? Is there a reason for this? Couldn't Drupal just detect if the URL has the http:// and in case it doesn't, add it?
I know this is a very small issue when compared to other stuff but I do believe it would make life more comfortable for many of us, especially those who use Drupal as a blogging platform.

Absolute url requirement to have http:// in commenters url
I also have the same problem with drupal 5 and 6 sites. Is there any way to change it so that commenters don't have to enter the http:// in front of their url?
