I've just installed this modules and got it working in minutes, which is great.
However, I have anonymous sign up turned on. So there is just a email box for people to fill in. This signs people up, but does not allow them to unsubscribe, (from an email link) clicking unsubscribe button results in "You could not be removed from General Interest mailing list." or "You must be logged in to unsubscribe..."

An update for drupal version 6 and the new Constant Contact REST API will be rolled out within the next 2 weeks.
I think the problem you describe here is related to the constant contact system but if you upgrade and experience this problem please post back here.
