I noticed the Open ID login icon looks funny. Tried in Safari and Firefox.

Since the default OpenID login icon image comes with Drupal 6.x is created for the light background color, it looks funny on a dark background as you said.

So please download the attached one and replace the ugly one.
This transparent PNG image makes it look much better on the dark background, and it looks good on the light background too.

Once you download it, copy it to the (drupal-root)/modules/openid/login-bg.png
