Image Menu - to set active image - didn't find a way to set

i think i have the same problem. when i'm defining a menu-item "under" another i can click on the parent-item, but the child-item never open or close.

example: i want it to open(=visible) c1 when i'm clicking on the parent-item pa1. when i'm clicking on another parent-item pa2, c1 should be closed (invisble), i can manage this with a normal link structure in drupal (5.7), but with the menu-item i can't.

thought about what i want. i want a soltution (case described above) that pa1, pa2 is an image and c1, c2 only text..have anybody an idea for this? thanxx for the help and time!

I would love a solution for this issue, can it be done with css? a:active? or is this an javascript issue?

yes, I am also very interested in a solution! I want to have an active state for the picture menu item, too. now there are just "inactive" and "mouseover" possible...

any idea?

I'd like to see the expanding menus working as well. Currently I can select expanded - but then the menus are always expanded...no collapse option.

Subscribing for the "active" class, i ve tried to have a look at the code myself but it s over my head.

Yea there needs to be an active image, subscribing.

I have the same problem, pleas help me.
My menu build with imagemenu module is always expanded even if I don't want.
Does anybody have a solution?
