I've created a node type which has a text field with "Single on/off checkbox". Label for this field doesn't show up in "create content" window, while labels for all other fields show up just fine.

This happens with any on/off widget without the allowed values set. From the global settings allowed values section of the field edit form:

For a 'single on/off checkbox' widget, define the 'off' value first, then the 'on' value in the Allowed values section. Note that the checkbox will be labeled with the label of the 'on' value.

You have to set the allowed values to set the label. Maybe there should be a default label?

Thanks a lot, Coltrane. I missed that part. Now it is clear.

excuse me fault error

"i add checkbox to content profile field
Label doesn't display for Single on/off checkbox"

that is only suggestion

maybe this format was better

field lable : 0,1[ ] check box label

that field label is optional

2- usually users not have attention to 'Allowed values list:'
use default value or different field name too this

thanking you
