I loaded the mail - module. It seemed to work fine. I then returned to submitting pages. I checked the box "Input format:php" but it did not submit as php but as html. When i went to edit the page, the html box was checked. rechecking and submitting did not solve the problem. I had to remove the mail module directory before the "Input format:php function returned". The proximity of the two functions in the interface seem suspicious.
I have drupal 4.6.0 running on linux-apache2
I have modules subscriptions, node_privacy_byrole, image, chatbox, fontsize

nedjoThanks for noting this. I'd improperly introduced a 'format' field, which conflicted with the existing one in core. I've renamed the field (and added a few related tweaks, like stripping tags for plain text mails).
