I first run into this issue with my existing site that had already tons of modules installed, but after reinstalling fresh new 6.2 and installing just that module issue became clear.

Order of pages/stories becomes "broken" (new pages/stories appear at the bottom) and you no longer can sticky posts.

I'd love to use your module, so I hope this issue will gets addressed.
