Just as the title says, posting comments seem to move the sidebar down under them. The problem gets worse each time a comment is posted and results in the footer becoming distorted and small. Any information would be great to have. Thanks so much.

only in the forum, I get this problem. did anyone figure out how to solve this problem? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried changing the comment.css to
.indented {
margin-left: 0px;
}

This prevents all the shifts of the comments from moving to the right. In firefox, the sidebar still remains intact and the replies to the comments no longer nudges to the right. In Internet explorer, however, the sidebar shifts all the way to the bottom. Can anyone give some guidance why this is? I tried a lot of different things using the greasemonkey in firefox but no real good solutions yet

Administer > Content Management > Content Types > Forum Topic > Edit

Choose "Comment Settings" & select either Flat list - collapsed, Flat list - expanded or Threaded list - collapsed
