Description

Quick hosting question

I do apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. I am a newbie and this is my first post.

I am having issues configuring Virtual Hosting with Apache. My hosting company has provided me a full Virtual Server configuration with Full Administrator Rights, running on Windows 2003 Server box. Although I’m not an expert I do have some experience with IIS (6 and 7) and was wondering if attempting a Drupal5.7 / Ubercart setup would even be possible over IIS – any thoughts or guidance much appreciated – thank you!

Drupal (including ubercart) works like a charm on IIS 6, didn't test IIS 7 yet, but it should be OK

As far as I know, the main trouble is with .htaccess... that could end up giving you some grief configuring the Image Cache module or something, but there are alternatives if you don't mind figuring them out. We recommend Linux + Apache + MySQL + PHP > 5 b/c it's our development/testing environment, but Ubercart should technically work in other OS's and on older versions of PHP.
