Hi,
I would like to know if there's any good way to let all the sign up users be able to access unpublished nodes, and yet the unpublished nodes can still be indexed in search with perhaps options like "search unpublished nodes."

Is there any work around?

Maybe in the user permissions you could set this

I think you need 'administer nodes' permission to view unpublished content. Unless it's your own.

if that permission is checked, every one can change the status for any node.
