It would be really awesome if someone could create some kind of macro to modify WP themes to use in Drupal.

It'd be exceedingly difficult to write an automatic program to do it, but it's fairly easy for a good developer to make a conversion. I'm currently converting a WordPress theme I've worked on, Tarski, to Drupal.
