Im still Struggling with blocks

Do I have to code to make the User login block show up on my webpage or is it something that I am not getting turned on in the blocks setup? Help me please.

no drupal core comes with a default login block
yes. goto adminsiter blocks and set the login block to the region you want it to show up in.

i set it up to show up in a user defined region but i will not show on my page. I am using the Denver Theme I cant make it show up on my webpage

I don't understand the term "user defined region"
did you set it to the left or right sidebar?
Then logout of your site as admin so that youc an see it ?
The login block will not show if you are logged in.
