Gallery 2.2.4, Drupal 5.7.
Gallery multisite installation.

Maybe someone has come across this issue. I'd appreciate it if you could point me to a relevant article.

I have the "random image" block enabled and I can see gallery images. When I click on the image I can see the full version. But if I try to navigate to an album using the breadcrumb it takes me to the 'main page' where all the albums are displayed.

I can not navigate to items by clicking on an album, it always takes me back to the 'main page'.

I think it is an integration issue because I can navigate OK from gallery2 non-embedded version.

I checked the database for errors and none were found. I also reviewed an article on embedded sites and the cookie path/domain settings but that did not help.

Are you using short URLs? Also does the link look correct or is it wrong.

I can't either. plus all info on the subject is either imprecise, ineffective, or both.

what I have discovered is: if you turn off G2's clean URLs, you can navigate albums in embedded mode - but from a SEO point of view that's not useful.

what's more, G2's official website DOES have clean URLs. and it does look as though Drupal is their CMS of choice. so how come?

don't take me wrong: I'd love to chip in for G2's improvement, but I can't afford to use a buggy tool on my customers' websites.

btw I run Drupal 5.7 .
