Hello
I m having a problem with images. Im using image assist to put an image in a story but when I click submit the image is displayed in the story content and also as a separate node under the content
what could be the problem cos I only want the image to be seen in the storycontent but not as a separate node

Img_assist use image module which create a node for each image. You can set image content type to not show on the frontpage. Administer -> content management -> content type -> image.

to elaborate on suryanto's comment, you will then have to go back into the existing image node(s), uncheck "promote to front" and resubmit to make it/them disappear from the front page.
