Hey guys!

I'm looking for a shared web hosting plan for my first drupal site.

I'm gonna be the only registered user, so there will be no heavy load on the server because I will use caching mode set to normal and css compression.

I heard that a common problem when hosting a drupal site is the delay when accessing databases and this causes pages to load slower. Do you know any host that is fast?

Also, I'm very concerned about my login data. Is it OK to login without a secure connection?

I don't have a big budget, so anything in the range of $10 a month would be great.

My recommendation would be AN Hosting, they've had the best database speed of any shared hosting I've tried. Check out my review, if you haven't seen it yet.
