Form content in node

Hi,

I would like to use forms to allow user to post information in a single node.

For example, users are supposed to be able to enter contact information in a form, and the form will then submit information in a node - creating a contact list.

I've looked around for modules to use for this, but there doesn't seem to be any suitable. My own php/drupal skills are way insufficient for this!

Any ideas on how/where to start would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Webform is the module you should use.

Webform

I tried Webform, but i don't think it's lets you place the form content in a node.

I might be wrong, though...do you know how to do this more specifically?

I didn't know what exactly

I didn't know what exactly you want. It is good to keep form page separate. Using Webform you can have description (or some content) before the form.

After installing the Webform. You can create new form using Create Content. You can link the form page from any page.

It's fairly easy really: What I want is a form that stores data in a database. Then i want to retrieve that information and post it in any given node.

After further research I've realized that I might be able to use Webform for this after all, but if anyone has a different idea, please let me know!
