After activating this module I get the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home/brew/public_html/site/modules/paypalnode/paypalnode.install on line 99

Any help in solving this is appreciated.

This is probably an issue with PHP4 interpreting some of the code. See http://drupal.org/node/233089, comment #7.
