motoservo commentedI get the same error. I accidentaly created a new menu named "Seconday Links" and I'm wondering if this is why I can't delete it. I know I'm deleting the right one because mine has both words capitalized instead of the Drupal "Seconday links" which has the word "links" in lower case.
I guess I need to find it in the database and delete that row from there.
If anybody has another suggesting?

kjay commentedThis sounds like the same issue as http://drupal.org/node/292790. I have posted a patch on this issue entry.

jonathan1055 commentedCan be closed as this is a duplicate - see #292790: Menu machine-name validation error (The menu name can't be longer than 27 characters) for follow-up

jonathan1055 commentedThis issue summary just got updated - the history shows "Automatic revision for Drupal 7 upgrade".
Any ideas what this is about? The link is not very helpful.
