I've taken the time to upgrade Flexiconvert significantly. So much so that the code is much different. The attached ZIP file is not a patch but rather a raw module. Here is some more information:

Files:
-flexiconvert.module
-- Contains the upgraded code. Please see the documentation for all the functions.
-flexiconvert.info
-- Module information file.
-flexiconvert_styles.css
-- Used to pretty-ify the conversion form.
-README.txt
-- Contains additional information helpful to the user.
