Would it be possible to add continents somehow, or would this be a core hack?

Would you consider adding this? Or do you have any guidelines maybe?

Continents aren't supported by any addressing staff, I mean geocoder, xAL, hCard, so using them through a custom vocabulary is much more easy, than to adding them to the module.
