Your response will help shape the future of the Drupal business ecosystem.If you'll try to attach any file to the node using Opera browser, after pressing 'Attach' button you'll get javascript error window "An error occurred: Unspecified error" (9.5version) and "An error occurred: " (9.27version), but after that file will be succesifully uploaded but without running progress bar.
I suppose that actually progress bar implementation is causing problems (misc/upload.js)

jagdfalke commentedI can confirm that this issue still exists with Opera 9.64 and Drupal 5.16.
The patch from ghostks fixes it. The patch/suggestion in http://drupal.org/node/248146#comment-812688 works, too.
