I couldn't find it in neither my local Drupal 6 nor 7 tree. Do you perhaps have any modules or anything else that may be responsible for the typo?

The module wikitools with option 'unique titles' may be responsible for this. Do you have that module and have you enabled that option?

THANKS a lot!
I was going crazy, cause did not know how to solve that problem.
I had this problem on a 5.7 Drupal Installation.

And here's a patch against DRUPAL-6--1 and DRUPAL-5.

Committed to both branches, thank you! (Even if it took me a while) ;)

Haha. It's not like I have been active much for some time now, neither with "my" various contrib projects or core... and I must admit I don't even use this module and can't remember for the life of me how I found it back then. So I haven't had any sweat over this not being committed... so no worries. =)
