Just top level on Firefox on Windows

Description
Instead of menu items in the navigation that open when clicked (because they have a little icon there), on Firefox on a PC there is no icon, thus only the top level of the nav is available. Same thing with IE 7.
Is there a switch to turn that on? Is it just my machine?
