All of a sudden no confirmation mails are sent

I had event-manager running smoothly, but all of a sudden it has started sending broken confirmation and cancellation emails: the mails have the right subject line, but the content of the message is gone. The registration-settings still show the texts, but only the subject line is sent, the rest of the message is empty.
Any explanation for this?

First thing to check would be that you are not using a template field name that might be messing up the content of the message. If that is not an issue, send me the content of the message template, I will have a look.
