Hello!

I am just starting to use Drupal. I have a mysql-database with many address and personal data records which I want to edit and select using Drupal. How do I use a non-drupal database with Drupal? Please, could anybody tell me is it possible and where do I have to start?

It would be fine if the data could be integrated into Drupal and also I hope I'm not to illiterate in using PHP and Mysql.

I red the user's and the administrator's guide but didn't think to switch to the module developer's guide so early :-)
