I'm currently using a js menu on my site http://krythis.com/frontierskydivers/ but was told that it loaded too slow and a CSS based menu may be a better options. Opinions welcome, does anyone have any decent menu solutions they would like to show?

The advice you received was correct. If I disable support for JavaScript in my browser, I'm unable to navigate your site. Search engines will probably be unable to crawl your site as well.
