Problems with RSS feeds from my site

Maybe I just don't understand how this works, but I have got a fresh install of Drupal 5.7 on my website. The theme is working awesome, i've got my blocks all setup, and for the first time i'm really using Drupal and it's functionality.

However I don't understand RSS Feeds. I have about a dozen or so pages configured now, but the only think that the RSS Feed shows is just the page that I promoted to the front page. How do you get all the other pages that I setup to appear in the RSS feeds? And will newly updated pages appear first in the RSS feed? That seems logical to me, but appears to not be how it's working.

Anyone offer me some advice or reading?
