Removing the log message textbox in "create content" for ver 5.7

i wanted to remove the log message text box in the create content section,

i WANTED TO REMOVE THE TEXT BOX THAT COMES IN THE "CREATE CONTENT" PAGE
names as "log message"

Basically, this problem has been marked for fixing in version 6.x, and for now you need to hack your template.php or template.tpl.php file. The exact code is in the comments of the thread I just linked. Enjoy!
