Why not make View Page to have AJAX based pagination?

That is a good idea. I think views2 might do this already but I'll have to look.
It was not done initially b/c that was not what I needed to do when I wrote it. If you wind up making it happen feel free to submit a patch, otherwise I'll look into it when I put out a new release.

Also interested in this. I know its in views2 but I don't think I'll be upgrading to D6.x anytime soon.
