I am looking to restrict access by ip on certain nodes. These nodes would be tagged in Taxonomy by terms such as Private and Public. So if a node was tagged Private, only people who within a certain ip would see it. It the node was tagged public, anyone from any ip would be able to see it. Or in other words, if I am within my allowed domain, I can see all the content, and if I am outside of that domain, I can only see the nodes tagged Public.

Has anyone seen anything like this, and/or what would it take to develop a module to do this? I am using Drupal 5.x
