How can i include linked pages (nothing deeper that the linked page itself) into the index? This will mean that if I link to something, the content of the linked page is tied to the node that contained the link.

this was the intent of the unmaintained externalpage.module. see http://cvs.drupal.org/viewcvs/drupal/contributions/modules/externalpage/...

this feature request does not fit nicely into trip_search, IMO
