how do i display two views on a page?

Hi, I want to display 2 views on the same page; side by side in the content portion of the site (middle).
I tried with blocks and they turned out one below the other.
I was looking at documentation and they talk about views_fusion or views_multiblock. All those seem to be drupal 5.x modules.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
theme a page...
one way is you could theme a page (page-myviewspage.tpl.php) and give it two new regions and use css to put them side-by-side, then add the views blocks in the block setting page.
