nekobul commentedI double checked insert_view.info and I think it should include the following statement:
package = Views
In this way it will appear under the Views category when installing.

mlsamuelson commentedAhh! I'd misunderstood - thought you were talking about the way the module was categorized using the categories on drupal.org.
I've made the update and it is reflected in the head version of the module.
