How do I filter archive by content type? For example, if archive was indexing 'news', 'releases' and 'letters', how would I show only 'news from 2008'? I've tried a few variations on /archive/news/2008 etc, but no luck.
Cheers
Dan

Susurrus commentedJust go to the archive page and click the corresponding link to filter by content type.
To choose which content types are available, visit the administrative settings page.

inertiac commentedah. well perhaps this is the root of my problem - I don't have that option on the archive page... It'll let me sort by date, but I have no links for content type at all.
Susurrus commentedAre you actually using version 6.x-1.1? I am positive you can sort by content type in that version.
Do you have more than one node type in your Drupal setup?
inertiac commentedYes - using 6.x-1.1 on Drupal 6.2. I have about 5 content-types
Comment #5
Susurrus commentedDid you visit the settings page to enable the content types you want displayed? If you haven't, none will show up!

inertiac commentedYeah - it's displaying all three content types, but I'm not given any option to filter them on the archive page. I'd like to be able to show only archived 'newsletters' on one page, and only archived 'releases' on another.

Susurrus commentedHave you tried using the latest code from the 6.x-1.x branch? I haven't issued a new release, but I committed a few bug fixes that may work for you.
