Hello everybody :) i'am newcomer here. I'am very very newbie in Drupal. And for my next step after installing drupal, i read a book that titled Pro Drupal Development from APress.
In the book, i read about creating module for drupal from scratch. The module name is annotation module. i follow the tutorial step by step.
Now i'am stuck. After the book ask me configuring the module from Administer --> Settings --> Annotate
But i'am not see Settings menu after clicking Administer menu. I just see
* Content management
* Site building
* Site configuration
* User management
* Logs
* Help
in the left sidebar and lists of drupal builtin modules in the righsidebar. i'am not see my annotation module listed there. i've activating my annotation module before.

I suggest using Drupal 5, when learning from a book written for Drupal 5 as there were several important changes. When you have a good grasp of the concepts, you can look into Drupal 6 and update your modules (http://drupal.org/update/modules).
