search box on the top is not working with Firefox

Please provide more informations:

• Did this happen on a fresh Drupal installation?
• Did you upload contributed modules and what modules do you use?
• Did you make any changes to the Foliage theme files?

I am new to the community and am not very sure whether I am doing this right but, desperately need some help with the search box in the header region.

It displays fine, and works in internet explorer. In firefox it is visible but not active, that is I cannot type into the textfield.

modules installed,

1. image
2. devel
3. devel_themer
4. custom_search

I have deactivated 2, 3 & 4.
Also I have granted the search permissions for the search module.

Please help.. Thanks in advance

Hi,

I found out that it was inactivating when I add margins to the search box.

I found out that the searchbox stopped working when I add margins in the css.
