hello!
Hello, I am putting together a site now that has to be used in 2 days. No choice, on that, wish i had a few months but i dont. the modules i uploaded saturday night are working fine, but the modules i installed last night such as image, audio and civinode modules, i am having problems with, they show up in the file manager, but not in the backend online (administer>sitebuilding>modules). I have run crons, restarted both my hosting account and the site, but i still cant get the recent installations to show up in the admin section so i can enable them. I am desperate for ideas. appreciate any advice.
thanks!

first thing to double check

first thing to double check is that you downloaded and unzipped the right version of the modules-- d6 modules won't show up in D5.

Thanks for the response! I found out i didn't place it in the public html/root file, just the modules folder of the root file. so it doesnt show up on the site. i am a old noobie, after hanging around this drupal site for over a year, i finally put up a working site and learning new stuff i should have learn a year ago. oh well, at least i got started.
thanks again.
