Has anyone set up SSL on a Drupal site using the module "Secure Pages?" Any special modifications to hta.access or anything else?

As long as you have the SSL certificate set up on the server, Secure Pages will work just fine. I am using it with 1&1 with no issues.

I setup my dev environment under dev.websitename.com, and am waiting to deploy to my www.websitename domain.

I ordered the SSL Cert, and it's asking me to set it up, but it appears it wants a main domain name, i.e., www.websitename.xxx, to setup the certificate with.

Can I add it to my normal www.websitename.com, but still test/develop under the dev.websitename.com subdomain?

I appreciate your help/advice...
