Is it possible with a snippet to display the current user's point total on the /user2userpoints page? This way they know their current point total before attempting to give away any points to other users.

I've been wanting this feature too. It's almost a necessity when using points categories, since users need to know whether they have enough points in a given category before they can give points from it (otherwise they get the potentially confusing error "You don't have enough $points for that."). I'm thinking that the point balances could be shown inside the category selection listbox after the category names, in parentheses.

Sorry for pinging the participants.

Now that Drupal 7 is out, there is no support for Drupal 5 and the
corresponding modules anymore. Therefore, I'm closing all old issues
which are still open.

I suggest you upgrade to Drupal 6 or 7 and figure out if you're feature
is still needed or the bug still exists and open a new issue in that
case.
