Description

Could it be possible to use (or reuse) an existing asset (jpg, gif, swf, etc.) in the filesystem and attach said file as an alternative option for uploading a new file?

Or could there be a way to integrate the asset module into advertisement?

Displaying ads in php using the ad() function uses tid and nid values...
are these module specific or could they be taxonomy specific tid and another module's nid value?

Please keep one topic per issue, otherwise things get confusing quickly. Responding to your first question.

Anything is possible, but this has not been implemented. Marking postponed until someone comes along and contributes a patch. (I do this on issues that I think would be worth having, but which I'm very unlikely to implement myself).
